“ If we look a little deeper, I think we see a truer truth. Climate change isn’t just “man-made”, as in caused by all of us, “humankind”, a sad but inescapable outcome of more people using more stuff.”
Cancer is caused by the fact— I read that once, and it made sense — that in healthy cells the signals to divide (“grow”) come from within organisms when needed while in cancerous cells they come non-stop from inside the cells themselves. — From this perspective, capitalism’s [human] absolute need to grow is cancer for Gaïa, thus its destructive externalizations.
What we need to do at the moment is not keeping on analyzing the present situation of the world from the thesis and antithesis perspectives of the Right and the Left, but to realize in an apolitic scientific synthesis that Gaïa (the living Earth) is presently suffering from a debilitating human cancer and find ways to go into remission while individually promoting its health to the best of our abilities.
Impossible? Well, I have been working at it for forty years+, and from the perspective of the theory, clumsily titled De evolutionibus res naturas, which I have developed alone during all these years, there is one and only one cure.
What this theory prescribe is a Copernican revolution, a “human paradigm shift,” based on the fact that the elementary particles composing all individuals are interconnected within a “quantum reality,” which I define in De evolutionibus res naturas (my theory) like Copernicus defined the earth movement among the other planets around the sun in De revolutionibus orbium coelestium.
While the Copernican revolution eventually allowed us to discover the forces of nature and Kant’s self-proclaimed Copernican revolution in philosophy made us understand how human minds perceive reality, the direly needed Copernican revolution in science that I have developed — on the basis that “normal” specialized thinking has reached its limit — will allow us to eventually control the human powers over nature, acquired in modern times under the guidance of the scientific method.
I have been working at it alone in and out of the universities as a learned-ignorant generalist for forty years while acquiring two general BA and one unspecialized MA in ZooAnthropoSociology, and I am still working at it assiduously at 74.
